Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo on the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials when she was a young child. She was in 1997 when she graduated with a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 to continue her acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she began to meet him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. Following their engagement in 2008, they married in 2009. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of Bo Dennis, the lead Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale and announced this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she is ready to resume working. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production of the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
